Allan is responsible for formulating and executing Carrick Lane’s vision, overseeing all aspects of the business, and delivering the full investment capabilities and expertise of the team to its clients and business partners. He manages the firm’s key client relationships with a passion to educate and a purpose to be an objective, trusted, innovative problem solver and advisor.

Over the past 20 years Allan’s attentiveness to his clients’ evolving needs has enabled him to drive the growth and development of multiple firms from the startup stage to managing multi-billion dollars in assets; most recently at Harvest Volatility Management and before that Credit Suisse’s Volaris group, and its predecessor firm Volaris Advisors LLC.

A CFA charterholder, Allan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSc, with first class honors, from the University of Glasgow's school of Mathematics and Statistics in Scotland.

Allan resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children and is active in many community efforts. He recently acted as the President of the Board of Trustees at Garden Academy, a school serving the needs of autistic children and their families. Born and raised in Scotland, Allan has a natural passion for the game of golf on both sides of the Atlantic. He also enjoys skiing and cycling with his family and friends.

Ken oversees all aspects of the investment functions at Carrick Lane, including research, product design, portfolio management and trading. He builds on his 20+ years of global industry experience as an investment advisor, portfolio manager, trader, and market maker to uncover and deliver innovative investment solutions to the firm’s clients. Due to his passion for the space, Ken is often sought by the industry to share his knowledge and expertise. Over the years, he has been featured as a speaker at industry conferences and cited in industry periodicals.

Prior to co-founding Carrick Lane, Ken was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Harvest Volatility Management and Head of Portfolio Management and Trading at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management Equity Solutions Group where he played an integral role in driving the growth of the "GOAS" managed options business from startup to over $20b in assets under management.

Before that, Ken was a trader with the Volaris group at Credit Suisse in New York and Zurich and a market-maker with SLK-Hull Derivatives in Chicago.

Ken received his B.S. in Economics in 2000 from Carnegie Mellon University, with Dean’s List honors and is a certified GARP Financial Risk Manager (“FRM”).

Ken and his wife Rebecca reside in Saratoga Springs, NY and are active in many local charities, and enjoy traveling and horseracing.

Tim is responsible for the research, portfolio management, trading, and product development of Carrick Lane’s investment strategies. His calm demeanor and comprehensive approach to managing positions and trading has served investors well for more than 20 years. Tim’s meticulous approach to evaluating markets and maintaining a disciplined process makes him a key component of the Carrick Lane team.

Previously, Tim served as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Harvest Volatility Management focusing on the put and call writing businesses. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with the Volaris group at Credit Suisse, managing option strategies, leading the trading desk, trading a broad range of asset classes and spearheading the marketing effort. Tim began his career as an options market maker for Botta Capital Management and Tahoe Trading.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University. While at Duke, Tim was a two-time All-America lacrosse player and team captain. Tim also helped bring home two lacrosse world championships, representing Team USA in Tokyo, Japan in 1996 and Perth, Australia in 2002. He was inducted into Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2016.

Tim resides in New Canaan, Connecticut with his wife and three children. He remains active in lacrosse as both a player and a coach. He also enjoys skiing, tennis and platform tennis with his family and friends.

Peter focuses on delivering the full suite of investment solutions to clients as well as the day-to-day management of the business. He has spent his 20-year career being a trusted advisor to financial advisors and high net worth individuals, helping to access and incorporate a broad range of alternative investment strategies into their portfolios.

Peter served as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Harvest Volatility Management and as Senior Vice President of Independent Wealth Solutions at iCapital Network, representing a wide range of alternative investment strategies to financial advisors and their clients, primarily in the western United States. Peter spent a large portion of his career at Credit Suisse and its predecessor Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York and Zurich. Most recently, he served as a Director of Alternative Investments for Private Banking North America, managing the business development and operations teams and supporting its $15 billion alternatives platform. Prior to that, he was a member of the Volaris group in both a marketing and portfolio management role. He spent an early portion of his career at a dedicated single-family office.

Peter received an MBA from F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College and a BA from Hamilton College.

Peter resides in San Francisco, CA with his wife and two young children. Peter enjoys golfing and trying out new recipes.

Andrew oversees the firm's operations, including platform and client onboarding, trade support and all other business processes. His strong work ethic and positive client first attitude makes him a strong business partner and valuable member of the team.

Previously Andrew served as a Vice President at Harvest Volatility Management focusing on operations of the put and call writing businesses. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Credit Suisse including ten years as a Vice President within the Volaris group. His responsibilities included client service, trade and systems support and compliance. Prior to joining Volaris, he held multiple roles within the Credit Suisse Private Bank.

He holds a B.A. in Communications from SUNY Albany and MBA from St John’s University.

Andrew resides in Matawan, NJ with his wife, two children and dog. He enjoys watching his children compete, working out, and his wife's cooking.
